I pondered more than the various options of feeder station for a long time, ideally seeking for a slightly more affordable alternative than this one particular for a friend's birthday present. I took a gamble on the Gardman in the end as I fancied the appear of it in the pics. And was I pleased when I opened the box! The kit not only looks superior but is of high excellent and incredibly sturdy indeed - a sort of Rolls Royce of bird feeder stations. The feed containers are nicely developed and pest proof and match the frame perfectly. It is also very easy to assemble. My friend is totally created up with it, and now I am organizing to obtain 1 for myself. I have no hesitation in recommending this item to anybody as it is such wonderful worth and so pleasing to the eye. I purchased this feeder prior to Christmas with the notion of replacing a way more simple Gardman feeding station. Immediately after the quick construction it had replaced the old one. The directions are extremely standard but effortless to adhere to, the parts had been well constructed and went together pretty quickly. With this feeder you do get the feeders supplied which are simple but the do save you getting to obtain feeders if you are just starting out, but I currently had some incredibly good feeders by The Nuttery, so the supplied ones are now kept as spares.

Overall this feeder is outstanding worth for money and went although the bad winter properly with no issues and gave the birds an much easier time acquiring food. One suggestion though if you reside in an location with sqirrels and that is to also purchase the Gardman squirrel baffle as it stops them 'nicking' all the bird food!
